Sameera Reddy (Telugu) is an Indian film actress, primarily
working in Bollywoodand Kollywood films. Apart from Hindi and Tamil, she has
also appeared in a number of Telugu, Bengali andMalayalam films. Sameera Reddy
was born on september 8, 1982 in Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh into a Telugu
family. Her father Chintapoli (C. P.) Reddy is a businessman, while her mother
Nakshatra, a Goud Saraswat Brahmin, referred to as Niki by her daughters and in
the media, was a microbiologist and worked with an NGO. She has two siblings,
Meghna Reddy, a former VJ and supermodel, and Sushma Reddy, herself a Bollywood
actress and model, both elder to her. She did her schooling at Bombay Scottish
School inMahim, Mumbai and graduated from Sydenham College.
